This national news brand is looking for a Junior Designer to work closely with their production team on design projects and campaigns for a range of clients.
The Role
Reporting to the senior design manager the Junior Designer will be working within a hardworking and deadline driven team of 7. Producing a mix of print and digital design for content marketing, advertising, editorials and microsites. The role will include the following:

• Liaising with senior designers and managers to complete required tasks
• Keeping designs in line with current publishing design trends
• Working across a range of print and digital publishing platforms
• Utilising the whole adobe creative suite to create content for a full range of online and printed publications
• Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative process

The Person
The Junior Designer role will suit someone who has graduated during the past few years that wants to learn and develop whilst working for a globally known publisher with over 200 outlets. With the nature of the contract they'll need to be able to join the team and hit the ground running. The right candidate will come with some or all of the following:

• A design degree qualification or equivalent
• An ability to understand and apply brand guidelines
• A firm grasp of layout, grids, typography plus print and digital design principles
• To be able to multi-task with the ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects
