20Twenty Store

Description

20Twenty started out in 2004, selling BMX bikes and kit in Aberdeen. BMX bikes have 20" wheels, hence the name.

Times changed and it got pretty tough to keep a store open in the centre of Aberdeen selling BMX gear, but owner Mike had made a name for himself repairing bikes and so 20Twenty became 20Twenty Bike Clinic, specialising in servicing and repairs on BMX bikes and Enduro mountainbikes.

The times kept changing, and the Enduro style of mountain bike riding became more and more popular. Enduro riding appeals to lot of current and ex-BMXers, the enjoyment of learning how to ride obstacles by sessioning applies to rooty descents just as much as it does a mini ramp.

Mike was a consistent top finisher in the Scottish Enduro Series and getting a little bit older in 2019 moved him up to the Vets class, where he became the Vets' Scottish Enduro Series Champion.
