Westminster Fire Station, SW1 Development

Description

Charming boutique development of 17 bespoke 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments is designed by Studio L interiors and Openstudio Architects. The two collaborated to thoughtfully focus on a peaceful and cohesive marriage between historic and contemporary architecture.

The development consists of the new building coined as the "Station House" and the characterful old Edwardian "Fire Station".  

The Grade II listed Fire Station has been transformed into seven residential apartments from the 1st floor to the 5th floor, including a characterful three-bedroom penthouse with charm galore. 

The new build “Station House” has eleven apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, three duplexes and a lateral penthouse with a private keyed entry on the fourth floor. 

Behind the Fire Station is an exclusive residents' courtyard from James Lee Design uniting a distinction between the two buildings. 

The ground floor of the Fire Station houses a restaurant 'Mathura', by the Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar.
