The Matthew Project Under18 Service - Drug and Alcohol advice and support!
The Matthew Project Under18 Service is part of a drug and alcohol charity who provide a range of universal, targeted and specialist interventions for young people under 18 in Norfolk.
The service comprises 3 multi-disciplinary teams based in Norwich, King's Lynn and Great Yarmouth but workers can meet young people in any appropriate location.
Workers include young people's substance misuse workers, counsellors, nurses and a social worker who are employed by The Matthew Project, Trust Alcohol and Drug Service and Children's Services.
Universal and targeted work includes assemblies, lessons, question and answer sessions and group work in schools and other educational/youth settings.
Targeted and specialist work includes one-to-one support for young people who use drugs and/or alcohol themselves or someone affected by another's drug and/or alcohol use (i.e. a parent, carer or friend).
We also have a youth team working with 16-25 year olds and an adult service working with 18+.
