TR Fastenings Ltd specialise in distributing and manufacturing standard and specialist industrial fasteners.

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative on a 12-month fixed term contract, to join the team at our
Manchester location.

The Role

Your role will be varied, and you will be required to work within all areas of the warehouse.

Key duties may include:

• Taking delivery of goods and supplies.

• Checking for damaged or missing items.

• Storing goods.

• Moving stock around by hand or a forklift truck (only if the applicant has the appropriate licence for

the type of MHE used at the location)

• Picking and packing orders.

• Loading goods for dispatch.

• Keeping records of stock.

• Keeping paperwork up to date.

• Some limited use of the TR Fastenings computer system may be required.

Hours of work are full-time; you must have a flexible attitude to the start and finish times to suit the
business needs and be able to work overtime at short notice.

The Candidate.
Previous warehouse experience and an appropriate forklift license for the Location would be an advantage
but is not essential.

The candidate must understand the importance of working as part of a team but also have the motivation
and initiative to work alone at times to get the job done. The ideal candidate will be used to working to
deadlines in a busy environment and who can think on their feet.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate flexibility in their approach and be able to always
prioritise and remain focused as accuracy is paramount to this role.
