The Fifteenth Century Bookshop specialises in secondhand and collectable children's books , from the rare to the readable , from wonderfully illustrated treasures to good old fashioned exciting stories ! With a lifetime experience of collecting as well as selling childrens books , we do our best to find that elusive memory of a book you once had to the one that "my mother gave away " !!

We also buy and sell many other subjects and there is a large stock to search through , where you will find the very book you never knew you were looking for !

The building is a genuinely 15th century , complete with timber frame and overhanging storeys , uneven floors and low narrow doorways and is found at the top of an ancient cobbled lane with views over the Downs to the sea.

This is the 30th anniversary of the owner, Susan Mirabaud, taking over the shop and a lifetime's interest and experience in books of all kinds enables her to help with all sorts of "booky" enquiries.
