We have 8,000 books, about a quarter of which are secondhand, including some rare books. Liskeard?s Book Shop is a browser?s paradise. It occupies two levels of a Grade II-listed, three storey building, whose original floorboards and wooden panels lend the 20-year-old bookshop a distinctive elegance.
We are a team of three - Mich?le, Roz and Ruth - and as part of a community bookshop, we provide work opportunities to A Level students on Saturdays and a GCSE student for their work experience one week per year.
Between us we can speak English, French, Italian and Spanish.
